Developed a learning tool that integrates with the educational platform Canvas and extracts learning materials for flexible self-learning support. Fine-tuned large language models, Llama 2, Mixtral and GPT, and implemented RAG with MongoDB vector search to accurately pull information and generate personalized assessments and learning materials for tertiary-level students. Created a React web application with a FastAPI Python backend.

Conducted research on human dream analysis and interpretation using machine learning. Developed a machine learning framework that allows users to generate and fine-tune dream-related images based on emotions and other parameters to enhance dream analysis research and dream therapy sessions.

Developed an NLP framework that creates multiple levels of structured information from audio input through smart glasses in real-time. Improved the old model by introducing the latest GPT model and incorporated into the main architecture of the framework, improved data visualisations using Apache Echarts by extracting keywords from audio transcription, clustering based on semantic associations and rendering on smart glasses.
Developed an AI program to help improve the smart learning effectiveness of undergraduate students. Constructed a multimodal machine learning framework and integrated Azure Cognitive Services. Created a smart chatbot that learns to generate relevant questions to students’ inputs and assists students in learning and understanding difficult programming concepts.

Developed a case study on one of New Zealand’s first national blockchain consortiums and addressed issues in digital transformation in New Zealand Primary Industry. Collected and analysed secondary data, discussed how industry-wise decentralised technology adoption should happen and provided solutions and suggestions. Article published in the 2023 IEEE Asia-Pacific Conference on Computer Science and Data Engineering (CSDE 2023).

Contributed to the Creativity Apps team. Developed a machine learning project using Swift, Objective-C and Python. Investigated, designed and implemented multiple features for the flagship product Serato Studio using C++ and Qt, which will be released in the upcoming year. Experienced both Test-Driven Development and Behaviour-Driven Development, developed multiple test suites.

Contributed to developing the Tencent Video VIP platform in the Tencent Video team, which has over 900 million mobile monthly active users and 120 million subscribers (Q3 2020). Independently designed and implemented multiple website features and components for external and internal platforms using JavaScript, Typescript, React and other frameworks.
A web app based on the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, NodeJS) was developed by 20 students as a team. Created a high-quality UI/UX design and developed a large proportion of the Front-end of the app using JavaScript/TypeScript. Acted as a leader in the team and conducted sprint planning, stand-up meetings, sub-team leader meetings and various management tasks following Agile practices. Collaboratively worked with the backend team and actively helped members with challenges solve their problems.

A Java-based Android application aims to showcase vinyl records in popular categories and allow users to favourite, search and view details of the record items. Used a popular music API as a data source to retrieve and update data in real-time. Animations and transitions are introduced to improve UX design.

Selected as one of the top 10 finalists from over 150 teams, presented to eight Apple Vice Presidents and executives across different Apple organizations in a WWDC theatre.
Awarded to conduct research projects under supervision for 10 weeks over the summer months.
Received the highest grade in test and research project in this post-bachelor course, with 93 students in total.
Top project in the game and education category selected by industry judges from EY.
Designed a CubeSat satellite called CURES to assist cancer cures research in space. Worked as a group of 8, and acted as the software engineer, business and marketing manager in the team. Was awarded the prize by Peter Beck, the CEO of Rocket Lab.
Created a functional and innovative web application that aimed to address the given theme in under 48 hours.
Competed with multiple PhD and undergraduate student teams and provided the most viable and creative solutions to the given case problems.
Worked as a team of 4 case competition first-timers and won 2nd place out of 40 teams in the Finals.

Selected as one of 90 students from 1000+ students around the globe. Worked as a student assistant for famous entrepreneur guests for 5 days. Improved communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills throughout the event. Gained deep bounding with both entrepreneur guests and fellow student volunteers.
Travelled to Japan with 20 selected student volunteers and went to Japanese High Schools for a student empowerment program of 10 days. Aimed to empower Japanese high school students to be more confident about the future and help them to improve their critical thinking and problem solving skills
